Job Title : Community Outreach Coordinator – Veterans Services

Location : Boston, MA (Hybrid – 2 Days Remote / 3 Days Onsite)

Pay Rate : $21.00 / hr (W2)

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 40 Hours / Week

Duration : 8-Month Contract (Possible Extension)

About the Role :

BCforward is seeking a Community Outreach Coordinator to support the Women Veterans Network (WVN) within the Executive Office of Veterans Services. This role involves coordinating outreach programs, engaging with women veterans and community partners, and supporting major recognition events and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

Plan, coordinate, and execute outreach events and community partnerships.

Conduct research to expand WVN membership and identify local veteran resources.

Provide information and referrals to women veterans regarding benefits and services.

Maintain member data, update information systems, and assist with newsletters and social media.

Support annual events, ceremonies, and public recognition programs.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance awareness and participation.

Qualifications :

1–3 years of experience in community outreach, program coordination, or public service.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office, social media, and data entry systems.

Knowledge of veteran programs or social services preferred.

Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Massachusetts.
