About The Position

Job Title : Clienttion Therapist

Experience : Minimum 1 year preferred

License : State licensed

Certifications : ARRT T, BLS

Must-Have :

• Adult Acute Care experience
• Patient / family teaching skills
• Familiarity with various radiation therapy equipment

Description :

The Clienttion Therapist will work Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 3 : 30 PM.

The role requires floating to other units and campuses as requested due to census concerns.

Agency staff must float to qualifying units with documented competencies.

Previous experience in a progressive radiation oncology department is preferred.

The therapist will provide care to patients across various age groups, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

The focus will be on the use of advanced radiation therapy techniques, including External Beam Therapy and Stereotactic Radiosurgery.

The therapist will handle emergency cases and provide care for patients with various conditions such as cancer.

Collaboration with interdisciplinary support services is essential in this role.

The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining radiation safety and providing patient education.

Familiarity with charting systems is preferred.

Experience with specific technologies related to radiation therapy is beneficial.
