Part-Time Temporary Instructor in Special Education Program on Visual Impairment

Overview

Kutztown University of Pennsylvania enrolls approximately 7,500 students across its graduate and undergraduate programs. Located in a rural setting in Kutztown, Pennsylvania, the University is a short drive from Allentown / Bethlehem and Reading, and about an hour from the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The University seeks employees with experience working with diverse populations. The Department of Special Education at Kutztown University invites applications for a quarter-time position for Spring 2026.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include teaching an undergraduate course in the visual impairment program. It can also include field student teaching supervision. Daytime teaching / supervision and a successful interview are required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• A master’s degree in the field of visual impairment with at least five (5) years of experience in teaching students with visual impairments is required.
