One of our clients is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide care to adults with IDD (intellectual and developmental disabilities) in a residential setting. This client's programs are located in Northumberland County.

  • Receive Weekly Compensation!
  • Client's Hourly Compensation Rate : $17 per hour based on relevant experience

CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS

  • 1st shift- Monday-Friday & Every Other Saturday & Sunday
  • 2nd shift- Monday-Friday & Every Other Saturday & Sunday

    • CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Valid Driver's License REQUIRED
  • Accelerated start with proof of TB / Physical within the past 1 year
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
  • Client negotiable temp to perm opportunity

    • SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF OPPORTUNITY

  • Provide support that will enhance Individuals' quality of life.
  • Provide personal care management to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Must be able to complete daily activity notes

    • CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent (some college preferred)
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience working with persons with mental and developmental disabilities
  • Ability to complete and / or produce requested background clearances
  • Experience in community based residential programs (preferred)

    • Persons with experience in the following roles are welcome to submit their information : Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), Home Care, Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Companion, Caregiver, Patient Care Technician (PCT), and Direct Care Worker (DCW)
