We are a social services agency looking for individuals to help our clients with disabilities gain work experience through a transition to employment program. As an instructor, you should have the ability to teach through different modalities, be creative, have an understanding of strategies that help developmentally disabled individuals to learn, and be able to model successful employment experience. A successful instructor also should be organized, motivated, and confident in his/her ability to structure lessons.

This position is a great opportunity for supplemental or primary income for anyone with a desire to enrich the lives of others.

Servicing locations: Mesa and Gilbert area

Schedule: Monday-9a-2p
Tuesday-9a-2p
Wednesday-10:30a-4p
Thursday-10a-3p
Friday-8:30-12:30 or 10a-3p

Minimum Qualifications:

• CPR & First Aid
• Article 9
• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card or able to obtain one
• Ability to pass background checks (E-Verify, Central Registry, etc.)
• Preferably one year of experience working in special education, social work, home-based care services, vocational, rehabilitative, psychology, or human services.
• Ability to transport clients in a personal vehicle/Valid drivers license
