Graphic Design Manager

Job Description

Join the KOMPAN North America (NA) team as a Graphic Design Manager and play a key role in creating happier and healthier communities across the country by bringing to life innovative play and outdoor fitness spaces.

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for leading a team of graphic designers, developing the KOMPAN NA brand standards in alignment with the KOMPAN Global team, overseeing the completion of graphic design projects, and collaborating with the KOMPAN Marketing and Design teams to deliver high-quality visual materials and proposals.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you’ll collaborate closely with the Global and North America Marketing and Design teams to set clear goals and objectives for the graphic design team, oversee the creation and execution of various graphic design projects, and ensure that all KOMPAN NA internal and external collateral adheres to brand standards and production guidelines in line with overall business goals.

The ideal candidate is an experienced graphic designer and critical thinker with exceptional vision and creativity in branding and visual storytelling. You’re comfortable managing people and priorities, while navigating complex requests and meeting company goals. Who We Are

For more than 50 years, KOMPAN has researched, designed, and built inventive and imaginative commercial playground equipment and outdoor fitness sites that captivate all ages and abilities.

In collaboration with our global headquarters in Denmark, KOMPAN designs, manufactures, and installs more than 1,000 sites a month across more than 90 different countries. Our North American headquarters, located in Austin, Texas, supports field sales around the U.S. and Canada.

What You’ll Do

• Mentor and guide a team of graphic designers, ensuring the achievement of graphic design project goals and deadlines,
• Work closely with NA and Global Marketing and Design teams to develop and uphold design and branding guidelines and strategies,
• Oversee the creation and execution of KOMPAN NA graphic design projects, such as proposal packages, presentations, marketing materials, and signage,
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to understand client needs to ensure the graphic design team captures the desired vision for each project, and
• Evaluate the performance of design projects by analyzing feedback and metrics, making adjustments as necessary to improve future outcomes.
