Security Architect Engineer

A company is looking for a Security Architect / Engineer to design and implement secure enterprise architectures for a Department of Defense information system.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of secure system architectures in compliance with DoD and NIST standards

Conduct risk assessments and security architecture reviews to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities

Implement Zero Trust principles and support RMF accreditation artifacts for continuous monitoring

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical field

Minimum 7 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or secure system design for federal environments

Experience with security architectures and control frameworks in AWS GovCloud IL4 / IL5

Deep understanding of DoDI 8510.01 (RMF) and NIST SP 800-53 compliance frameworks

Active Top Secret clearance (SCI eligibility preferred)
