The Role and Team
The Business Applications and Data team is part of corporate IT and is responsible for supporting, developing, managing and enhancing the set of enterprise applications which make up the platform that delivers Medallia's business processes. The group focuses on engagement with the lines of business to evolve and scale solutions to best fit Medallia's business needs. In addition, the group focuses on design, development and deployment of an enterprise decision support system to provide enhanced reporting and analytics capabilities.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HCM Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Workday and related solutions within our organization. You will collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to ensure our Workday platform and related HCM solutions meet business requirements and enhance operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Workday and other HCM solutions’ cross-functional complexities, security, configurations, and best practices, coupled with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.
Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic advisor to our People & Culture, IT, and Finance leaders, translating complex business needs into scalable, maintainable solutions leveraging Workday and other related technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to : gather requirements; analyze workflows and data needs; identify opportunities for people, process, and technology improvements; and, prioritize and refine requested improvements.
Define, develop and oversee the application of scalable configuration standards and architectural frameworks that drive automation, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
Oversee planning and execution of major Workday releases, including feature adoption strategy, regression testing, and stakeholder impact analysis.
Implement and manage security protocols to protect sensitive employee information.

Medallia is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $200,000.
