Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Opening in Nashville, TN Seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric services across the agency. You will evaluate and diagnose individuals who are experiencing a psychiatric emergent / urgent or routine condition in an outpatient setting, face-to-face, and / or by telehealth. You will determine pharmacological treatment for patients as well as facilitate admitting patients to the hospital or respite as needed. Monday to Friday, 8am-4 : 30pm (on-site) with no on-call responsibilities. We are offering a competitive compensation package and relocation reimbursement.Compensation : For the right candidate, this is a lucrative position paying up to $300k or higher for a 37.5 hour week, in addition to a very generous benefits policy, no state income tax, and below average cost of living. Responsibilities Evaluate and diagnose individuals who are experiencing a psychiatric emergent / urgent or routine condition in an outpatient setting, face-to-face and / or by telehealth. Pharmacological treatment for patients including prescribing medications using InfoScriber, as well as providing follow-up. Facilitate admitting patients to the hospital or respite and consulting with MCRT when needed. Supervise Nurse Practitioner and / or residents as assigned. Coordinate medical aspects of treatment with Nurse, Care Management Supervisor and Care Managers. Participate and provide supervision of multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and provide consultation by phone when needed. Maintain active role in treatment team. Consult with outside Physicians regarding care managed consumers as necessary and assist with communication to the PCP.
