As a Manager, Cloud Engineering Architect, you will lead the design, implementation, and management of scalable, high-performance cloud solutions that align with strategic business objectives. You will guide a talented team of engineers, fostering innovation and collaboration while ensuring reliability, security, and operational excellence across cloud platforms. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, driving automation, and implementing best practices for cloud infrastructure. You will also oversee strategic planning, project delivery, and continuous improvement of cloud operations, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of cloud technology trends. Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement cloud computing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
  • Provide technical oversight on cloud architecture, system design, performance optimization, and security.
  • Collaborate with product, program, and application support teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Manage complex cloud projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
  • Implement and maintain AWS architectures following best practices, including networking, storage, security, and CI / CD pipelines.
  • Monitor industry trends and ensure compliance with data protection and governance requirements.
  • Establish KPIs, SLAs, and operational excellence metrics for cloud services.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of cloud engineering experience with 3+ years leading high-performing engineering teams.
  • Extensive expertise in AWS architecture, cloud networking (VPC, ELB), storage (EBS, S3), and security / IAM.
  • Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containers, Linux and Windows environments.
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices, CI / CD pipelines, and SDLC management.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with distributed teams and manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Preferred : AWS certifications, experience with cost optimization, performance tuning, and cloud strategy / migration planning.
