UPMC Somerset is currently seeking a
qualified Emergency Medicine Physician to join our
team!
The Department of Emergency
Medicine provides emergency care by a trained, board-certified
emergency physician 24 hours a day. This space is staffed with
critical care trained; ACLS and PALS certified nursing staff.
Emergency care at these facilities includes the
immediate treatment of any medical or surgical emergency, the
initiation of life-saving procedures in all types of emergency
situations and the provision of emergency care for chronic medical
conditions and minor illnesses and injuries for patients of all
ages.
Description :
Physician will treat patients in Emergency Room to ensure proper
injury care and disease diagnosis
Physician
must be able to evaluate a variety of acuity, think and act quickly
to make a tentative diagnosis and determine the appropriate course
of treatment
Physician will work as part of a
team with providers and other members of the emergency staff
UPMC focuses on physician wellness that
includes staffing ratios of generally less than two patients per
hour
Regular - Full Time status

Qualifications :
Emergency Medicine Board Eligible / Board Certified
Must be qualified for a medical license in
the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
