Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Bullhead City, AZ 86442 (Arizona nursing jobs)

Assignment Length : 13-week travel contract

Start Date : August 25, 2025

Shift : 06 : 30 AM – 3 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday (8-hour shifts)

Hours per Week : 40

On Call : Required as needed; on-call duties split among staff

Setting : Hospital Operating Room (OR RN jobs)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

Preferred experience : endoscopy, urology, total joints, ortho trauma, general surgery (robotics with DaVinci Xi), ENT, vascular, podiatry, and laparoscopic procedures

Strong clinical skills in critical thinking, communication, and teamwork

Previous travel nursing experience in a fast-paced hospital environment highly desirable

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Provide patient care and demonstrate leadership in the operating room

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and healthcare team members to ensure safe and efficient surgical procedures

Prepare and maintain necessary supplies and equipment for each case

Communicate effectively with patients' families and the surgical team

Update physician preference cards and assist with scrubbing and circulating duties

Supervise and support personnel delivering patient care in the OR

Comply with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, hospital, and surgical department policies
