Sr. Kinaxis Functional Lead / Architect - Mostly Remote with some travel

As a senior and key member of the SAP Solutions Team to help implement Kinaxis Technology, you will lead the review of technology solutions designs and drive the specific stages of data integration to SAP throughout the assessment of SAP IBP & Kinaxis Maestro solution with the new addition of AI into the solution. Through your understanding of customers' most pressing business and supply chain challenges, you will offer expert guidance ensuring seamless system integration and immediate value realization in complex supply chain environments. The role will work with the implementation partner team on the deployment.

About the role : What you will do

• Evaluate the overall data integration roadmap for deployments and provide expert guidance on creative technology solution, aligning with customer business needs and best practices.
• Provide technical expertise in highly complex system integrations, including validation, testing of the solution and optimization of data flows.
• Support customers and partners in identifying and implementing solutions tailored to
• individual data flows, leveraging deep proficiency in Kinaxis Integration Platform Suite, Maestro data model, and REST based API Integration capabilities.
• Identify risks to system integrations and provide inputs on developing mitigation plans for deployments.
• Provide technical expertise and recommendations during critical deployment escalations to resolve complex data integration or conversion challenges.
• Drive adoption of integration best practice on deployments to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
• Manage multiple engagements simultaneously, fostering strong collaboration with partners and customers

The job entails extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.

Key Components and Layers

SAP IBP is a cloud-native SaaS solution, offering scalability and accessibility from anywhere.

The underlying in-memory database powers real-time analytics and rapid processing of large datasets, essential for AI and machine learning capabilities within IBP.

A central planning area serves as a single source of truth, housing a harmonized data model for various planning modules like demand, supply, and inventory.

Excel UI : Preferred by planners for its familiar user experience.

SAP CPI-DS (middleware) : Extracts data from source systems, transforms it into the IBP format, and loads it as master or transactional data.

AI and Machine Learning : Built-in algorithms and ML frameworks are used for predictive analytics, demand sensing, and optimization.

Process Management : Supports workflow tracking and task management within planning processes.

Data Flow and Integration

Master and transactional data are extracted from source systems like SAP ERP and S / 4HANA using SAP CPI-DS.

The data is transformed and loaded into IBP's harmonized data model on the SAP HANA database.

Users perform demand, supply, and inventory planning, leverage AI-powered analytics, and simulate scenarios within the IBP platform.

Planning results and other data can be sent back to operational systems like S / 4HANA for execution, to BW for reporting, or to other tools for further analysis.
