Job description

Position Overview : The role of the Production Technician is to assemble test and package quality products in the Life Science Cartridge Assembly department according to drawings and specifications.

Location : Waterford WI

Job Type : Full-time

Key Job Responsibilities :

  • Perform tasks involving the assembly of various sizes of water purification cartridges per work instructions drawings and specifications.
  • Operate equipment that bonds plastic component parts together such as a spin welder heat welder or ultrasonic welder.
  • Perform final testing on cartridges per work instructions
  • Package products into bags and boxes and label as specified.
  • Operate bag sealers during the packaging of final product.
  • Perform cycle counts.
  • Operate hand tools power tools and hand jack.
  • Perform tasks within ERP system involving the assembly and movement of products into and out of the department.
  • Complete forms involving the requisition completion and routing of parts into and out of the department.
  • Recognize and process non-conforming parts into Non-Con.
  • Inform Supervisor and / or Coordinator of trends and / or larger issues regarding non-conformance parts.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work environment following the 5S standards.

What You Bring to the Table :

  • 3 - 5 years of experience working in a mechanical assembly role
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
