Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title : Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) Location : Moses Lake, WA 98837 Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Unit : Labor and Delivery Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 16, 2026 Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12-Hour Day Shifts Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Salary : $3150 - $3370 per week Registered Nurse Qualifications Graduation from an accredited nursing program Active Washington State RN License (required for Washington nursing jobs) Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in acute care or specialty nursing (labor and delivery preferred) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (AHA or equivalent) within 30 days of hire Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (required prior to end of orientation) STABLE course completion within 6 months of orientation OB ALS online course within 6 months of L&D training AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course within 3 months of L&D training Proficient in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care as a Registered Nurse Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills Labor and Delivery RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns using the nursing process Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for assigned patients in the labor and delivery unit Supervise and delegate tasks to other healthcare team members, ensuring high-quality clinical support Educate patients and families on care plans and health needs Accurately document patient care in electronic medical records (EMR) and / or paper charts Uphold patient and family rights, providing compassionate care without discrimination Maintain professional development and stay current with labor and delivery nursing best practices Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection control, and healthcare facility policies May serve as Charge Nurse, managing assignments, admissions / discharges, and staff coordination Foster a positive, collaborative environment for patients, families, and the healthcare team Discover the charm of Moses Lake, WA—a vibrant Washington community known for its beautiful lakes, parks, and outdoor recreation.
