Job Description
Title
Speech Therapist - Speech Therapy

Schedule
Shift: 8 hours, Days (8a - 4:30p)
Varies, Minimum of 2 weekends per 4 weeks; preferably 4 weekends per 4 weeks.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Weekly

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within specialty.
- Required: BLS, SPL, CCC-SLP.
- Prior acute care experience is desirable.
- MBS/FEES proficiency is a plus, but not required.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy to acute care patients based on physician orders.
- Support patients with a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU patients, stroke/neurological conditions, dysphagia, respiratory compromise, and cognitive issues.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Document patient progress and adjust therapy interventions as needed.
