Essential Responsibilities
Device Repair / Technical
- Repair cell phones, tablets, and other devices
- Replace screens, batteries, and other components on smartphones and tablets.
- Able to rebuild cordless drill batteries and other battery packs as needed
- Replace cords, sockets and other parts on lamps and light fixtures
- Cut keys and reprogram key fob remotes.
- Develop and promote Micro-Soldering capabilities.
Operations Management
Work with the Store Manager to develop and implement the store's business plan, and all company programs and initiatives. Work with the Store Manager to evaluate performance compared to plan and to benchmarks. Implement operational activities to control costs while driving the business.Maintain inventory data accuracy (inventory management).Assist with cycle count every week to reflect the accurate utilization of device repair inventoryRotate and stock inventory.Ensure obsolete and damaged inventory is minimized and RTV's are completed timely.Manage core recovery and core charge compliance. Manage recycling programs within policy and city, state, and federal regulations.Assist in training of new associates and create / implement trouble shooting procedures.Store Maintenance
Maintain proper safety-related items and equipment (baking soda, Personal Protective Equipment, etc.). Follow and enforce all safety rules and regulations.Oversee facility repair and maintenance issues.Maintain appearance and uniform standards.Sales and Customer Service
Demonstrate and coach a "customer-first" mentality.Support all commercial and retail sales strategies and initiatives.Support commercial lead generating activities and goals.Execute and coach selling and add-on strategies.As an Assistant Store Manager, you will receive the following benefits :

Minimum H.S. diploma / equivalent and 1 year of retail experience (Cell Phone Repair Experience a Plus)Passion for customer service and problem-solving, with the ability to close a saleStrong technical aptitude and a basic understanding of electronics with the ability to be trained in cell phone repair as well as program and cut keysAbility to lift 50+ lbs. and install automotive batteriesAbility to communicate concrete and abstract ideas and understand and communicate directions using both oral and written meansDemonstrated ability to work with minimal direction as a resourceful, independent problem solver.Ability to handle multiple projects / tasks and meet deadlinesAvailability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the businessValid driver's license and clean driving record requiredBatteries Plus is the nation's largest growing battery, light bulb and Phone Repair franchise.
