We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Directional Driller / Locator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Safety Ensure safety is the top priority by following safe work practices, policies, and processes.This includes identifying potential problems, developing solutions, and enforcing safety rules.
• Equipment operation Safely operate directional drill equipment, including the drill rig, truck, and trailer.This includes performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintaining the equipment.
• Location Locate the drill head and ensure it's in the correct position to avoid hitting underground utilities.This includes reading underground facility plans and drawings, and using a receiver to monitor the drill's location and orientation.
• Planning Plan the bore shot, including potholing utilities, and developing a plan to go above or below obstacles.
• Documentation Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation.
• Labor Perform labor tasks, such as site clean-up, conduit placement, and potholing.
• Communication Communicate with the supervisor daily, and provide training and assistance to coworkers.
• Customer interaction Interact with customers to explain work procedures.
