Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for preparing, loading, unloading, operating and cleaning a truck, maintaining records, and helping to develop customer rapport. The right candidate is eager to learn, independent, has a keen eye for planning, and is driven to develop professionally and personally over time. Other responsibilities include stocking shelves, receiving material, shipping material, and maintaining order and cleanliness of the warehouse and yard. Additional tasks may be given at the discretion of your manager.

Ultimately, we are looking for hard working individuals who want to grow with our company. Most of our successful employees began their careers by delivering material and performing general warehouse duties. This role can quickly turn into a counter or inside sales position for the right person with a good work ethic and the drive to succeed.

Pay : $20.00 to $23.00 per hour plus eligible for profit sharing

Working Conditions : General warehouse conditions. Operation of warehouse equipment and driving of a work truck to pick-up and / or deliver local orders. Deliveries expected in all weather conditions. Periodically lift up to 50+ lbs.

Minimum Qualifications :

In order to operate our trucks, you will need a valid driver's license and a clean driving history. A CDL endorsement is not required.

Authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications :

Relevant Experience.

Working Conditions :

Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot / cold temperatures. Deliveries in all weather conditions including during extreme hot / cold, rain and other seasonal conditions.

Supervisory Responsibilities : No

Essential Job Functions :

Legally operate a motor vehicle and maintain a driving record that meets company standards

Load all order fulfillment materials onto the truck for delivery and unload at delivery

Communicate any vehicle mechanical problems to direct supervisor

Perform daily inspection and maintenance on company vehicle

Deliver / pick up merchandise to / from customers and suppliers promptly, efficiently, and in a professional manner

Pick up material from vendors

Receive incoming freight

Keep a clean and organized warehouse

Stock material on shelves

Pick orders

Processing returns from customers and to vendors

Operate a Microsoft-based computer system

Compensation Range :

The compensation range for this position is $21 to $24 hourly.
