As a Security Officer - Access Control Flex in New Holland, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, manage badge access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate : $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeWed11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to access control within a food and beverage production environment.
  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions as needed.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activity in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the perimeter and business areas to help to deter suspicious activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Collaborate with site management and / or law enforcement when necessary regarding security-related matters.
  • Maintain detailed records and logs of access control activities and any incidents that occur during the shift.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
