- The hourly Special Education Paraprofessional pay rate to work on assignment with Camp Hill School District is $18.00 / hour
- Special Education Paraprofessionals may support students in one of the following areas : Autistic, Emotional, Instructional, Learning, and Life Skills Support
OPENINGS :
Middle / High School Emotional Support Paraprofessional (1 position) : 100 S. 24th St, Camp Hill, PASchedule : 7 : 30am - 3pm on all student and PL days (30 minute unpaid lunch break)Work duties include the combination of supporting students in the emotional support classroom, which is often delivering instruction to multiple grade levels and / or subjects at the same time, or pushing into regular education classrooms to support ES students.Elementary Autistic Support Paraprofessional (2 positions) : Eisenhower Elementary School, 340 N. 21st St, Camp Hill, PASchedule : 7 : 40am - 3 : 10pm on all student and PL days (30 minute unpaid lunch break)Work will be in a classroom with higher need students and will provide behavioral support in the classroom and instruction in language acquisition. The District will support training with AAC devices.Some push-in support to specialsAssist students with toileting. Materials, including gloves and wipes, will be provided.Elementary Autism Support Paraprofessional (1 position) : Hoover Elementary School, 420 South 24th Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011Grades K-2Schedule : 7 : 50 AM-3 : 20 PM on all student and PL days.Work will be in a classroom with higher need students and will provide behavioral support in the classroom and instruction in language acquisition. EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
High School Diploma required.
