Anesthesiology Physician

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting experienced Anesthesiology Physician for a target start date of September 1, 2025. The role offers a competitive market rate and benefits.

The Anesthesiology Role :

8, 10, 12-hour shifts (guaranteed 8 hours)

Shifts can vary from 3p-11p to 7a-7p

Call Coverage : Weekday Day 1-7a-7p (12-hour guarantee); Weekend Nights 7p-7a (12 hour on call - must be within 30 minutes of hospital

Weekend Days 2 - on call as backup for day and night shift person (may work 4 or 5 hours or none)

Not required to Supervise CRNA's

90% Adult, 10% Pediatric

Case types : 70% OB 10% Neuro 5% Thoracic 5% Complex 5% Ortho, No Cardiac

Standard Procedures required :

Adult, Pediatric, Spinal, epidural, regional, OB, Neurological (head / spine)

Thoracic & complex vascular (except Open heart), Complex Ortho

Pain management, post-op epidural & extremity block

Vent management, Eval & mng acute vol / BP issues, C-lines, Arterial lines

Required :

CA license; active and unrestricted

BC / BE within 5 years of residency
