GeBBS Consulting is a healthcare technology professional services and consulting firm based in Towson, Maryland servicing clients throughout the US. We are celebrating our 28th year in business. We have two divisions : 1) Hospital / Provider Practice 2) Managed Care / Payer Practice – we work directly with health plans (very strong in the Blue Cross Blue Shield space). GeBBS Consulting has over two decades of experience supporting healthcare clients throughout the US.

We are currently hiring a Senior Data Architect to support one of our LARGEST and long-term partners within the Blue Cross Blue Shield space!

Summary : The hired Senior Data Architect will lead the migration of data from Cloudera to AWS RedShift. This resource will support gap analysis and building new data model in RedShift from Cloudera and expose datasets from Aurora PostgreSQL to Amazon RedShift.

Location : Hybrid, 1-2 days a month onsite in Reston, VA. Candidates MUST reside in the DC, MD, VA areas.

Required Skills :

  • 8+ years of overall data architecture / engineering experience (should NOT be focused on ETL development, rather architecture in AWS / Cloudera.)
  • 5+ years of experience in data architecture using any data modeling tool (Erwin preferred)
  • Experience with Amazon RedShift
  • Experience with Cloudera or similar big data / Hadoop technologies (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, etc)
