Job description

The Village at Morrisons Cove has been a leading source in Christian based care for older adults for over 120 years. We are currently seeking to hire a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead and oversee all departments associated with the Skilled Nursing Facility.

The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursing home facility, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards while providing high-quality care to residents. This role requires strong leadership and management skills to foster a positive environment for both residents and staff. The Administrator will work closely with healthcare professionals, support staff, and families to promote the well-being of our nursing home residents.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall operations of the nursing home, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Closely collaborate with nursing home department heads to ensure each area is properly and efficiently managed.
  • Foster a supportive environment for residents with Alzheimers care, dementia care, and other memory care needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance resident care and improve service delivery.
  • Oversee financial management activities including budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Ensure effective communication among staff, residents, and families regarding care plans and resident progress.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with health regulations.
  • Provide leadership in staff training and development to enhance service quality.

Skills& Qualifications :

  • A current PA license as a Nursing Home Administrator in good standing.
  • Extensive experience with state and federal long term care regulations
  • 1-3 years experience in long term care management
  • Knowledge of working with individuals with older adults
  • Proficiency in operations management within long-term care facilities.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial acumen in healthcare settings.
  • This position requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about enhancing the quality of life for residents while ensuring operational excellence within the facility.
