Job descriptionWork three 12-hour daylight shifts per week from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM Must work every other weekend including Saturday and Sunday Holiday rotation requirement - work every other holiday Patient ratio of 1 : 4-5 (up to 1 : 6 for med-surg acuity patients) Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must be able to read and interpret cardiac strips Must be able to titrate drips including Cardizem, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Heparin Experience with Bipap, Cpap, and High Flow ventilation required Navy blue scrubs required (jackets must also be navy blue) EPIC charting system experience preferred Two-shift orientation with preceptor provided May float to ICU as helping hands Serve as central monitor station for entire hospital Care for heavy cardiac patients including dysrhythmias, CVAs, and patients downgraded from ICU BSN not required Valid unexpired driver's license must be submitted with application Referral bonus

This acute care hospital features a 28-bed private stepdown unit that serves as the central monitoring station for the entire facility. The hospital maintains 24 / 7 hospitalist coverage with intensivist support and provides comprehensive services including in-house respiratory therapy and pharmacy. The facility uses EPIC charting system and offers supportive leadership with flexible block scheduling options for staff.
