Location : Washington DC-Capital Hill, or National Harbor
Compensation : $38-$47 hour based on experience
Schedule : Full-time, 30+ hours per week
Setting : Skilled Nursing Facility / Rehabilitation Center
Reports To : Director of Rehabilitation
The Physical Therapist is responsible for delivering high-quality rehabilitation services, focusing on patient care and recovery. Key responsibilities include :
- Conducting patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Implementing therapy interventions to improve mobility, function, and independence.
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Providing supervision and guidance to therapy assistants and students.
- Ensuring compliance with documentation, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Educating patients and families on treatment goals and rehabilitation strategies.
- Participating in facility meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and survey preparedness.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or recognized foreign equivalent) in Physical Therapy.Current and valid PT license / certification.Experience working with adult / geriatric populations.Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.Ability to perform physical tasks such as patient transfers, equipment handling, and extended periods of standing / walking.Comprehensive Benefits package.
