Locums | Primary Care | Outpatient Clinic | Sylva, NC Why This Role

Outpatient primary care need at Hospital clinic
Vacancy due to provider retirements and departures
Monday to Friday schedule, 8 : 30am - 5pm, capped at 40 hours / week
Long-term ongoing assignment with steady patient load
Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians accepted

Requirements

Active North Carolina medical license

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

BLS certification

Assignment Details

Start Date : ASAP

End Date : Ongoing

Coverage Type : No Call

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 30am - 5pm, with lunch break

Weekly Hours : 40 max, no OT approved

EMR : Athena

Clinical Details

Setting : Outpatient primary care clinic

Patients per Shift : 15-20

Support Staff : 2 RNs, 8 MAs, 1 NP, 3 office staff

Admissions : None

Call : None

Trauma Level : N / A

Skills Needed

General Internal Medicine or Family Medicine outpatient care

Preventive medicine, chronic disease management, acute visits

Ability to work in busy clinic alongside existing physicians and NP

Compensation Info

Rates : Facility accepting bids

Malpractice : Provided and paid by Archway Locums

Travel : Reimbursed
