Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of neuro/stroke scrubbing experience and required ARRT (VI) and BLS (AHA) certifications.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work setting is an Interventional Radiology department at a comprehensive stroke center
- Specializes in neuro/stroke cases requiring scrubbing on Biplane equipment
- Handles procedures for a diverse patient population, including newborns through geriatrics
- Expected to perform high-quality IR procedures per exam protocol
- Schedule is 4x10 hour AM shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday with a rotating day off
- Call, after-hours, and weekend coverage required
- Responsible for preparing patients and performing invasive multimodality procedures using sterile technique
- Maintains high standards of infection control, radiation safety, and procedural documentation
- Collaborates with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams, and may serve as preceptor to new staff
- Navy blue scrubs provided by the facility
- Not open to travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility
- Returning staff must have eligibility verified prior to consideration

- Minimum of 2 years experience in Interventional Radiology with neuro/stroke scrubbing
- ARRT (VI), AART, and current BLS (AHA) certification required
- Active TX license required, if applicable
- Must provide 2 professional references for consideration
- Flu shot required during flu season (August–November); no exemptions permitted
