Sentara Virginia Beach General Albemarle is hiring a Registered Nurse Supervisor for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Depart / Position Overview :
The ICU at SentaraVirginiaBeachHospital is a 24-bed general ICU . In addition to fellow staff, the RN will receive incredible support from the Unit Nurse Educator, Unit Coordinator, and RN Manager. The unit has an active Partnership council and is currently involved with the hospital Magnet journey.
Overview
The Supervisor, Nursing and Patient Care Services in a hospital setting plays a key leadership role in the nursing department, supporting the manager in overseeing all patient care activity on their assigned nursing unit(s). They are responsible for ensuring high standards of care, coordinating daily nursing activities, and facilitating communication between medical teams. Assists with the training, mentoring, and performance evaluations of clinical staff. They also manage patient care assignments, help resolve patient and family concerns, and ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and safety regulations. Additionally, they assist in staffing decisions, maintain inventory for medical supplies, and ensure that the unit is properly equipped to provide quality care.
