Position Overview We are seeking a Full-Time Cook to join our dedicated kitchen team. The ideal candidate will prepare nutritious and delicious meals in accordance with dietary needs, food safety standards, and established menus. This is a hands-on position that requires strong culinary skills, time management, and a heart for service. Key Responsibilities Prepare, season, and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines. Measure, mix, and assemble ingredients; perform food prep including chopping, slicing, and dicing. Operate and maintain cooking equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and mixers safely and efficiently. Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures in compliance with food safety standards. Monitor food portions, presentation, and quality to ensure consistency. Assist with menu planning, inventory management, and receiving food deliveries. Work collaboratively with kitchen and dining staff to ensure timely service. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area at all times. Adapt to changing needs and schedules as required by kitchen operations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Current ServSafe® Food Handler’s Permit (or willingness to obtain). Valid Driver’s License. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in commercial kitchens, healthcare dining, or institutional food service preferred. Excellent knife skills and understanding of various cooking methods. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must successfully complete a criminal background check prior to employment.
