Reporting to the site Quality Lead, the Quality Technician’s primary responsibility is to identify, analyze and report on materials, processes and products to ensure they meet customers’ quality standards and to ensure corrective action is implemented effectively to improve company performance. This is a 8 hour per day / Monday - Friday day shift.
What You'll Do :
- Ensure outgoing finished products meet quality standards through Quality Assurance inspection and audit process.
- Record inspection and audit data.
- Understand Process Control and perform Layer Process Audit.
- Preform Incoming Material Inspection.
- Facilitate, clarify and educate quality standards to production personnel.
- Ensure rework materials meet customer specifications.
- Investigate and work with DIRTT employees to reduce / eliminate defects & institute corrective actions.
- Perform measuring equipment calibration.
- Assist in investigation and analysis of customer reported quality issues and root cause identification.
- Represent and promote our customer’s expectations with regard to quality within our facility.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Role :
The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of manufacturing experience with a minimum of 2-year experience in a Quality related role.Post-secondary education in management, engineering or manufacturing would be beneficial.Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.Excellent communication skill, both verbal and written.Highly self-motivated and organized.Able to work without supervision.Computer literate, capable of working with MS office.Flexibility on work schedules to meet company’s requirements.What’s in it for you :
