Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Workday Consultant specializing in Integrations to join our HR technology team. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex integrations using Workday tools such as Workday Studio , EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) , Core Connectors , and Workday Web Services / APIs . This role requires strong technical acumen, business process understanding, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient HR technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy integrations between Workday and external systems using Workday Studio , EIB , Core Connectors , and Workday APIs .

Collaborate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Develop and maintain inbound and outbound integrations to support HCM, Payroll, Finance, and other Workday modules.

Manage integration configurations, error handling, and data validation to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, providing root-cause analysis and long-term fixes.

Create and maintain technical documentation for all integrations, including data mapping, workflows, and process design.

Participate in Workday release management, regression testing, and impact analysis.

Provide production support, monitor integration performance, and optimize existing solutions.

Stay updated with Workday releases and recommend improvements or automation opportunities.

Required Qualifications

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience : Minimum 6 years of overall experience in HRIS or integration development, with 4+ years in Workday integrations .

Technical Expertise :

Proven hands-on experience with Workday Studio , EIB , Core Connectors , Web Services (SOAP / REST APIs) , and XSLT .

Strong understanding of Workday HCM data model and business process framework .

Familiarity with XML, XSLT, JSON, and web technologies .

Proficiency in Workday Report Writer and calculated fields .

Experience with data transformation , integration security , and middleware concepts .

Soft Skills : Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in integrating Workday with systems such as SAP , ADP , ServiceNow , or Salesforce .

Exposure to Workday Extend and Workday Prism Analytics .

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and integration lifecycle management .

Workday certification(s) in Studio , Integrations , or Core HCM preferred.
