A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. • Work 12-hour shifts with options for day shift (7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM) or night shift (7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM)
• Every other weekend schedule required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratio of 1 : 4-5
• 3 years of recent ICU experience required
• Previous charge role experience preferred to demonstrate multitasking and independent thinking abilities
• Must have friendly, honest, flexible personality with strong multitasking skills
• Compassionate approach with ability to work well with others and demonstrate sense of urgency when needed
• Possess superb critical thinking skills
• Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Work with Phillips monitors, HillRom beds, Omnicell, GE EKG machine, Lifepak 20e defibrillator, Lucas device, Verathon bladder scanner
• Use Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Perform STEMI protocol, Stroke protocol, Conscious Sedation, Chest Tubes, Codes, and Intubation procedures
• Navy blue scrubs required
