Job Description

The Data Insights Leader will play a pivotal role in Western Digital’s Data, Systems, and eCommerce organization, leading digital analytics and insight generation across our online ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy and data analytics, responsible for defining how data informs the pivot of our eCommerce platform from a B2C consumer experience to a B2B enterprise driven model.

Beyond eCommerce, this role will partner closely with Channel Sales, Corporate Marketing, PR, and Communications teams to deliver actionable insights and unified analytics strategies that drive performance and decision making across multiple digital touchpoints. The ideal candidate is a strong analyst and team leader who thrives on turning complex data into stories that influence strategy at scale.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the digital analytics strategy for the eCommerce platform with a focus on transitioning the website from B2C to B2B experiences

Partner with marketing, product, and sales teams to identify KPIs, conversion paths, and customer journey optimizations

Design and execute A / B and multivariate testing strategies using Adobe Target to improve conversion rates and engagement

Analyze web traffic, campaign effectiveness, and audience behavior using Adobe Analytics and SimilarWeb

Conduct SEO and SEM analytics and optimization using Adobe Analytics and SimilarWeb to improve visibility, search performance, and lead generation

Develop and automate dashboards in Tableau and Power BI for both technical and non technical stakeholders

Translate data insights into strategic recommendations that influence leadership decisions

Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data stitching and manage SQL based transformations for web and marketing data

Support marketing automation and audience segmentation through Adobe Customer Data Platform and Marketo

Provide data driven consultation to Channel Sales, PR, and Corporate Communications teams on campaign impact and audience reach

Mentor and lead a small team of analysts, fostering a culture of insight, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Present insights and strategic findings to senior leadership and cross functional partners

Qualifications

REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field

5 to 10 years of experience as a digital analyst, data strategist, or insights leader

Demonstrated leadership experience managing or mentoring analysts or cross functional teams

Proven ability to communicate complex data clearly and persuasively to executive audiences

SKILLS

Adobe Analytics for advanced reporting, dashboard creation, and SEO and SEM analytics

Adobe Target for A / B and multivariate testing design and analysis

Tableau and Power BI for visualization development, storytelling, and data blending

SQL at an intermediate level for joining tables, stitching data sources, and building simple calculated fields

SimilarWeb for competitive benchmarking, web traffic analysis, and SEO and SEM optimization

Meltwater for media monitoring, PR, and sentiment analysis familiarity

Adobe CDP and Marketo for data segmentation, lead scoring, and marketing automation alignment

Strong understanding of digital funnel metrics, user segmentation, and ROI measurement frameworks

Compensation & Benefits Details

An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance, contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs.

The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York. This range may be modified in the future.

If your position is non-exempt, you are eligible for overtime pay pursuant to company policy and applicable laws. You may also be eligible for shift differential pay, depending on the shift to which you are assigned.

You will be eligible to be considered for bonuses under either Western Digital’s Short Term Incentive Plan (“STI Plan”) or the Sales Incentive Plan (“SIP”) which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance, depending on your role and your performance. You may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan. Please note that not all roles are eligible to participate in the LTI program, and not all roles are eligible for equity under the LTI plan. RSU awards are also available to eligible new hires, subject to Western Digital’s Standard Terms and Conditions for Restricted Stock Unit Awards.
