Job descriptionMD or DO with Psychiatry Residency completion Board Certification in Forensic Psychiatry Active New York medical license in good standing DEA and NPI credentials Training in risk assessment and forensic evaluation methodologies Clearance for high-security settings and background checks CPR / BLS certification Conduct competency, criminal responsibility, and risk assessments Provide forensic psychiatric care to patients in secure facilities Collaborate with legal teams, courts, and clinical providers Deliver expert testimony as needed Document forensic evaluations and treatment notes in EMRs Participate in clinical and forensic case conferences
Adelphi is seeking Board-Certified Forensic with Adult Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric services in various counties across New York State. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting clinical assessments and delivering psychiatric care in secure or high-acuity settings, particularly with individuals involved in the justice system.
