Job descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a logistics and distribution environment. Monitor and control access at designated entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized entry and / or activity. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns. Communicate observations and incidents to appropriate personnel and assist with emergency response activities as needed. Maintain accurate records and logs of all incidents, access control activities, and security-related events during assigned shifts. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must have at least one year of security-related experience. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Security Officer - Access Control Driver
As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in West Jefferson, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated areas, as well as managing entry and exit points. Your visible presence and attention to detail will support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, and offers an engaging role for those who thrive in fast-paced, dynamic settings.

What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
