LOCATION : Cibola High School, 1510 Ellison NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114

WEEKLY HOURS - .5 COURSE CREDIT : No more than 10 hours per week. No more than 6 hours per day, plus complete a self-reflection project and present it during the last week of the . Currently a 1 - 2 semester limit.

The is unpaid, and interns will not receive any financial compensation.

WHEN WORK HAPPENS : Monday through Friday 8 : 40 AM - 3 : 40 PM

Summary of Position

We are seeking an individual to :

  • Assist introductory Engineering students with 3D modeling and dimensioning drawing
  • Assist the Engineering instructor with running 3D printers, organizing tools, and preparing materials for design problems
  • Assist the Engineering Instructor with pre-reviews of design work submitted by students in the introductory Engineering class

Hard Skills

  • Enrolled in High School or GED
  • Has completed Engineering 4 or is currently enrolled in Engineering 4
  • Recommendation by Engineering Instructor
  • Soft Skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Organized student with a positive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn
  • Attention to work rules and deadlines
  • Exposure & Training provided through

    We will teach you how to grade student work, effectively communicate how to correct the mistakes the students made on their work, and how to be a mentor to the Engineering students.

  • Please speak to your SEL Teacher / Advisor / Mentor regarding working and physical conditions at your site. You will also be required to sign and upload a Parental Permission form. In addition, you will be required to electronically acknowledge Non-Disclosure and agreements.
