Job description

Occupational Therapist (Day Shift)

Location : Laconia, NH, 03246

Duration : 13-week

Shift : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM

Guaranteed Hours : 35 hours per week

Weekly Pay Rate : $1,610 - $1,750; (Negotiable based on experience)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional conditions to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide therapy to improve motor skills, coordination, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Utilize therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and assistive technology to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and strategies for continued progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulations.

Required Requirements :

  • Education : Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy with a minimum of a Master's Degree in OT.
  • License : Active OT license.
  • Experience : 1+ year of occupational therapy experience.
  • Certification : BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Skills : Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
