About The Position
Job Title : Endoscopy Tech

Experience : Minimum 2 years
License : High school diploma or equivalent
Certifications : None required, CSER preferred
Must-Have Skills / Experience :
Experience as an endoscopy tech.
Experienced in the tech role in the procedure room as well as endoscope reprocessing.
Description :
This position involves assisting with procedures in the endoscopy unit.
The role includes responsibilities related to patient care for EGD, Colonoscopy, and Bronchoscopy patients.
The endoscopy tech will work in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key tasks will include performing tech duties in the procedure room and managing endoscope reprocessing.
The environment includes four procedure rooms and requires adherence to patient safety practices.
The tech will be expected to maintain a patient ratio of 1 : 1.
Experience with Olympus scopes and Medivator AER is preferred.
Common procedures include screening colonoscopy, polypectomy, EGD, variceal banding, esophageal dilation, and biopsy.
The successful candidate will float between inpatient and outpatient units as necessary.
