Senior Counsel

Microvast is seeking a Senior Counsel to join the Legal Team, primarily supporting supply chain operations in the procurement of goods and services. This role will also involve assisting with transactions for other business units, including the sale of battery solutions and energy storage products. This position offers a unique opportunity for a seasoned commercial lawyer to contribute to accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What You'll Do

• Drafts, reviews, and negotiates a wide range of commercial contracts with a very high degree of independence in support of the business.
• Manage a high volume and wide range of commercial contracts, including supply agreements, IP licensing agreements, technical agreements, warranty agreements, development agreements, services agreements, and confidentiality agreements, materials agreement, licensing agreements, consulting agreements, etc..
• Review redlines, supervise negotiations and provide general guidance to the business.
• Provide advice on a variety of strategic, regulatory, and transactional matters for the supply chain team and other business units.
• Facilitate resolution of legal disputes by drafting and responding to breach of contract claims.
• Prepare and maintain contract forms to support Microvast’s businesses and operational areas.
• Identify and define operational and legal risk and communicate those risks to the general counsel.
• Collaborate with colleagues worldwide to ensure consistency in contracts and risk allocation across Microvast’s various businesses.
• Handle miscellaneous legal tasks on an as-needed basis.
