A company is looking for a Patient Access Scheduler II to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage inbound and outbound calls in a contact center setting
Schedule specialty appointments and diagnostic procedures using Epic Hospital Cadence
Follow established protocols to enhance patient and physician satisfaction and schedule efficiencies
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Associate degree in Business Administration, Health Care Business Services, or related fields preferred; bachelor's degree is a plus
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a business office or healthcare setting required
Proficiency in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology required
Basic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes required; familiarity with Epic electronic health records preferred
