Job descriptionPrioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency Collect patients personal information Take vitals and perform some lab work. Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood Correctly label samples and send for testing Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician Phlebotomy diploma preferred Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples Strong computer and data entry skills Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary
