About The Position

Job Title : PICU Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)

Experience : Minimum of 1 year required

License : Compact license required

Certifications : BLS, PALS

Must-Have :

• Charge experience preferred
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Skills in BiPAP / CPAP, care of ventilated patients, and central line care

Description :

This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatric Intensive Care.

Candidates with at least one year of experience are encouraged to apply.

This role involves floating between units as needed.

Weekends are required on a variable basis.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is expected to be 1 : 2-3.

The hospital is a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, equipped with a total of 181 staffed beds.

Candidates must be comfortable working with critically ill pediatric patients.

Responsibilities include care for post-cardiac surgery patients, monitoring, and managing complex medical conditions.
