Position Overview

Are you an ambitious and driven individual with a foundational understanding of environmental, civil, or geotechnical principles, eager to launch your career in a dynamic consulting environment? We are seeking a Engineering Staff Associate to join our growing team, contributing to diverse projects across environmental, civil, geotechnical, geostructure, and construction material testing disciplines. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills, gain hands-on experience, and progress towards professional licensure. You will be a vital part of our project teams, supporting senior staff and learning the ins and outs of engineering consulting from the ground up.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in from an ABET accredited school in the fields of Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of years of relevant environmental consulting experience preferred (internships / co-ops count).
• Currently in progress towards obtaining Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Geologist-in-Training (GIT) certification, if applicable.
• Required to travel regularly to local and regional project sites (typically within South Carolina and surrounding states), potentially including overnight stays and perform extensive fieldwork under varying environmental conditions, including adverse weather, uneven terrain, and potentially hazardous environments, while adhering strictly to health and safety protocols.
