Position Summary :

We are currently seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Worker for our team. In this role, you'll perform a variety of upkeep tasks including minor repairs, cleaning, and troubleshooting to help keep our facility safe, clean, and fully functional. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, solid technical knowledge, and takes pride in keeping buildings running smoothly. Physical stamina, manual dexterity, and reliability are a must. This is a swing shift and will require both days and evening shifts.

Responsibilities :

Duties include performing minor fixes such as repairing broken locks and fixing light fixtures. The role includes scheduled on-call responsibilities. You will inspect and troubleshoot equipment and building systems, check control panels and electrical wiring for issues, and conduct routine maintenance tasks like replacing light bulbs and unclogging drains. Maintaining facility cleanliness and function is a key part of the role. You will also perform outdoor maintenance such as mowing, trash collection, and basic landscaping. Checking the functionality of safety systems, such as fire alarms, is required, along with reporting larger issues to the Facilities or Maintenance Manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Applicants should have experience using hand and power tools, and the ability to read technical manuals and blueprints. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, as well as physical stamina and manual dexterity. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of a maintenance-related apprenticeship is preferred. Construction experience is also desired.
