Job descriptionOperates with integrity while upholding ethical standards of the organization Facilitates internal communication with his Supervisor and peers Views, grades and sorts material Facilitates a safe and clean work environment Ability to work quickly and efficiently to meet department and company goals while adhering to all company, safety and health policies Ability to work in various environmental conditions such as extreme heat or cold, dusty, dirty and / or wet conditions Demonstrate understanding of company policies, rules and trainings Must demonstrate competency in all aspects of the job, company objectives and policies Other duties as assigned Must possess basic reading and writing comprehension in English Must have the ability to perform the physical tasks of the job such as frequent bending, standing, lifting (50-75 lbs) Able to fulfill flexible scheduling requirements as determined by the manager and / or business needs of the operation

Position Overview : The General Labor individual manually sorts material to achieve company goals under the direction of the supervisor.
Reporting Structure : Reports to the supervisor.
Primary Objectives : The General Laborer works under the direction of the supervisor and is expected to follow instructions to complete various tasks. Basic duties include sorting and segregating material.

- Basic on-the-job training that satisfies the Primary Objectives of the specific position (as noted above)

- Electrical Safety
- Personal Protective Equipment

- Fire Prevention, Extinguishers & Torch Safety
- Emergency and Evacuation Plans
- Incident Reporting
- Working In the Heat / Cold
- Zero Tolerance / Reasonable Suspicion
