Location : Des Moines, IA 50314 (Iowa nursing jobs)

Setting : Resource Pool – Med / Surg Telemetry Unit

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)

Start Date : October 6, 2025

End Date : January 4, 2026

Assignment Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM (12-hour night shifts)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend / Holiday Rotation : Every other weekend and every other holiday

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1630 - $1750

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or compact state

At least 1 year of recent Med / Surg Telemetry nursing experience

Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in weekend / holiday rotations

Completion of required onboarding and competency checklists

Current immunizations and health screenings (COVID-19, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, PPD / IGRA, Fit Test)

Successful background check and education verification

Med / Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care in the Med / Surg Telemetry unit

Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document nursing care accurately

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Respond promptly to changes in patient status and deliver timely interventions

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and clinical standards

Float within the Resource Pool as needed to support various clinical areas
