We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to join our Head Start Program. In this leadership role, you'll guide classroom activities, implement educational programs, and foster a nurturing environment where children can thrive. Responsibilities :

Lead and supervise all classroom functions with professionalism and care

Implement daily educational programs that support developmental milestones

Maintain accurate daily records and documentation

Facilitate engaging, age-appropriate learning activities

Collaborate with staff to ensure high-quality Head Start programming

Provide mentorship and guidance to classroom support staff

Requirements :

Caring, upbeat personality

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education (Study Plan available)

Initial or Permanent B-2 Certification (or equivalent; Study Plan available)

2–5 years of experience working with children ages birth–4 in a classroom setting

Head Start experience preferred

Additional Requirements :

Daily access to reliable transportation to Bronx, NY

Flexibility with assigned work location(s)

Ability to pass and maintain acceptable record related to the mandated criminal background check process
