Summary
The Human Resources Manager / Senior Generalist leads and supports HR initiatives that align with business goals, serving as a trusted partner to both leadership and employees. This role manages full-cycle HR processes, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding processes
- Provide guidance on organizational development, workforce planning, and employee engagement
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and employment laws
- Manage complex employee relations issues, investigations, and disciplinary actions
- Analyze HR data and trends to create informed strategies and solutions
- Develop and deliver training to support employee development and compliance
- Assist with compensation and benefits administration, recommending improvements where needed
- Continuously improve HR systems, programs, and processes
- Mentor and support junior HR staff as needed
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field required; advanced degree or HR certification preferred5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a generalist or senior HR roleStrong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practicesExcellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skillsProficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, BambooHR) and Microsoft OfficeStrong organizational, analytical, and time management skillsSHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferredExperience in manufacturing or similar environments a plusSalary
