Intercare Recruitment has partnered with a clinic in eastern Virginia with an opportunity for a skilled Physician to provide locum Urgent Care Coverage. $165 / hour

Location : Newport News, VA (Yorktown, Williamsburg, Newport News, Hampton and Gloucester)

Facility : MD Express- Newport News

Client : Riverside Physician Services

About the Opportunity :

• Schedule : 12-hour shifts
• Multiple locations
• Patient Volume : 30-40 per day
• Patient Population : 40% adult, 30% geriatric, 30% pediatric
• Support Staff : Physicians, APP, RN, MA, X-Ray Tech, receptionists
• Will assist in supervising APPs
• Board certification required
• Paid travel & expenses

Description

Urgent Care Need.

Looking for Emergency Med, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine residency.

Providers are expected to rotate between all 5 locations; all locations within 30 minutes of one another (Yorktown, Williamsburg, Newport News, Hampton,n and Gloucester)

Schedule : 9a-9p. Open 7 days per week

Adult 40%, Geriatric 30%, Pediatric 30%

Will assist in supervising APP's

Support Staff : Physicians, APP, RN, MA, X-Ray. 2x Receptionist

Structure : 1 MD and 1 APP every day from 9a-9p

Average Census- (60-70 TOTAL)
